Betty J. Terra November 9, 1929 – October 29, 2018 Betty J. Terra, age 88 passed away, Monday, October 29, 2018 at home with her family by her side. She was born on November 9, 1929 in Atwater, California to the late Joseph and Agnes Corvello. On September 23, 1950 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Edward Terra, Sr..

To their union they had seven children. Betty retired from Ballico Elementary School where she worked in the Cafeteria for 21 years. She was a devoted dairyman’s wife for 65 years.

Her true passion was with her family. Family was everything, she loved them with all her heart. Your love will light our way.

Your memory will forever be with us. Betty is survived by her Sons, Edward M. Terra Jr. (Marilyn), Frank J. Terra Sr. (Nona); Daughters, Mary Sawyer (Dennis), Beatrice Johnson (Dennis), Victoria Cabral (Anthony), Cecilia Cook (James), and Denise Holder (Floyd); 21 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Agnes Corvello and great grand children Julie Mello and EJ Cook.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with a Virgil Prayer Service at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, November 3, 2018 at Ivers & Alcorn Funeral Home, 3050 Winton Way in Atwater. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 4, 2018 at Saint Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 330 Franci Street in Livingston. The burial will follow at Winton District Cemetery in Winton.
