Franzell, Betty Jean, 85, passed away March 4, 2019 in Glasgow, Kentucky. She was born January 16, 1934 in Front Royal, Virginia to the late Basil & Grace Williams. Betty Jean was a retired employee for Brownsboro Hills nursing Home and a Baptist by faith.

She is survived by one daughter, Carol Mercer (Tim); four sons, Mark A. Barbee (Zetta), Steve, William & Jeff Franzell; one sister, Polly Wiles (Leigh); five grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 7, 2019, 2:00 p.m. at J.B. Ratterman & Sons Funerals & Family Cremation Care, 2114 W. Market Street. Visiting will be held Thursday from 11am to 2pm.
