Betty Jo Meade, 74, of Odessa, Texas formerly of Sergent passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at her residence. Betty was the daughter of the late Paul and Mabel Wright. She was the widow of Otto Meade.

Surviving is 1 son: Travis Shane Meade of Odessa, Texas; 2 brothers: Wayne Wright and Doyle Wright both of Sergent; 1 sister: Sharon Roberts of Thornton; 4 grandchildren: Derrick Wright, Cameron Wright, Toby Meade, and Tori Meade; 1 great granddaughter: Addie. Betty was preceded in death by 1 son: Gregory Scott Wright; 2 brothers: James Wright and Paul Jr. Wright; 1 sister: Ruby Cooper. Funeral: 1:00 O’clock P.M. Sunday, December 23, 2018 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Glennis Morris and Freddie Hall officiating.

Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Saturday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Meade Family Cemetery at Cowan, Kentucky.
