Obituary for Betty L Cook Ellis Kneece Betty L. Cook Ellis Kneece, 85, of Summerville widow of Glenn E. Ellis and Henry Kneece, passed away Friday, October 12, 2018 at her residence. Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Monday, October 15, 2018, from 10 to 11 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home followed by her funeral service at 11 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will take place at 3 o’clock at Brunson Cemetery, Brunson, SC (Hampton County).

Mrs. Kneece was born August 29, 1933 in Hampton County, SC, daughter of the late Al Cook and Annie Mae Duboise Cook. She was a past member of the Ladson Post 3422 Ladies Auxiliary, Dorchester Shrine Fez/Tenders and Eastern Star Chapter 56, Fairfax, SC. She was a member of Dorchester Presbyterian Church.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1300 Baxter Street, Ste. 150, Charlotte, NC 28204 or National Association of Mental Retardation, PO Box 1257, Columbia, SC 29202. Survivors include: one son: G.E. “Eddie” Ellis, Jr. of Summerville, and two daughters: Ann McClary of Hampton and Brenda Zacharias of Summerville, six grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
