Betty L. Nichols, 93, Carthage, MO, passed away early Monday morning, April 30, 2018 at St. Luke’s Nursing Center, Carthage. Betty Lou Horine was born March 8, 1925 in Carthage, MO to the late Clay Horine and Ola Mae (Bingham) Horine. She graduated from Carthage High School, Class of 1944.

Survivors include one daughter, Kathy Mankin, Carthage, MO; one son Jeff Nichols, Carthage, MO; one granddaughter, Whitney Chartier (husband Jon), Carthage, MO; and two great grandchildren, Olivia and Aiden Chartier. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one son, Terry Nichols. Graveside services will be held 11 am, Friday, May 4, 2018 at Park Cemetery, Carthage.
