Obituary for Betty Louise Morrell (Weathers) Betty Louise (Weathers) Morrell, 89, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Society in Liberal, Kansas. She was born May 28th, 1928 to Mary Thelma (Duprez) and Daniel Edward Weathers in rural Cowley County near Geuda Springs, Kansas. She married Herbert Walter Morrell on January 14, 1950 in Winfield, Kansas.

Betty enjoyed watching old movies and writing poetry. Her faith was important to her as she spent many hours reading scripture and attending church. She loved her family and her dogs.

She is survived by her daughters; Dana Lea Stevens and husband Bruce of Lake Hiwassee, OK, and Kim Yvette Pianalto of Sublette, KS; granddaughters, Misti Lea Boelte, and Randi Lea Stevens both of Lake Hiwassee, OK; great-grandson, Remington Boelte and wife Carrie of Weatherford, OK; great-great-grandchildren, Dani Boelte, and Oakley Boelte. She is preceded in death by her husband and a sister, Doris Johnson. A Graveside Service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Liberal, KS, with Pastor Rex Petty officiating.
