Betty Nafzger, 83, of Canyon passed away on August 30, 2018. Services will be 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Happy’s Memorial Chapel with Chaplin Jeff Messer officiating. Interment will be in Happy Cemetery.

Arrangements by Brooks Funeral Directors. Betty was born in Brownfield, TX on May 6, 1935, and graduated from Idalou High School. She married J.P. Nafzger on February 13, 1982 in Canyon, TX.

Betty worked at The Canyon News as an Ad Administrator for several years. After retirement, she enjoyed her time as a homemaker. She loved spending time with family and taking pictures of and bragging about her grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 10 siblings, her first husband Lee Donnell, and son Kevin Donnell. Survivors include her husband; daughters Marta Williams and husband, David, and Pam McFadden; son Jeffrey Don Nafzger and wife, Debbie; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and sister Chris Graves. The family suggests memorials be made to Alzheimer’s Association 110 Mesa Park Dr. Ste.
