Betty Peaden Griffith, age 73, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2018, in Crestview. Betty was born October 22, 1945 in Crestview to the late J. D. Peaden and Catherine Morley Peaden. She was a devoted member of Milligan Assembly of God in Baker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Griffith, a sister, Dianne Peaden Moore and brother, Bill Peaden. Betty is survived by sons, Tommy Griffith, Jr. (fiancé, Lisa Miller), and Bill Griffith (wife Jennifer); daughters, Marcia McCoy (husband, Thomas), and Dianne Ball (husband, David); a brother, John Peaden (wife, Hazel); and Susan Brannon Houx (husband, Allen); grandchildren, Amanda Griffith, Ryan Griffith, Savannah Griffith, Josh McCoy, Ben (Henry) McCoy, Caitlen Ball, Nathaniel Ball, Hannah Griffith and D. J. Stewart; six great grandchildren; and special friends, Billy and Sandy Thomas and Sheila McFadden. A time of visitation will be held from 5 – 7 PM on Saturday, December 29, 2018, at Milligan Assembly of God in Baker.

A Celebration of Life will be at 2 PM on Sunday at the church, with Pastor Mike White officiating. Burial will follow in Good Hope Congregation Church Cemetery, Baker. Arrangements are entrusted to Whitehurst Powell Funeral Home in Crestview.
