Betty’s Obituary Betty Whitaker Armel, 82, of Panama City Beach, FL passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2019. She was born on October 12, 1937 in Birmingham, AL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Armel.

She is survived by three children, Lisa Quirk (Pat), Edward Armel (Janice), Bradley Armel (Lynn); nine grandchildren, James Quirk, Kailyn Quirk, Kristin Quirk, Julie Hager, Nicholas Armel, Joshua Armel, Jeff Fisher, Erica Cumbee, Crystal Cumbee; two great grandchildren, Ayden Hager and Addyson Hager. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 13, 2019 at 1 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12-1 pm prior to the service.

Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
