Hortense Harper Thurman July 10, 1933 – March 07, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook Hortense Harper Thurman, 85, of Lynn Haven, passed away March 7, 2019. She was born July 10, 1933 to Frank and Effie Harper. She was a member of the St. Andrew United Methodist Church.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Thurman. She is survived by her son, Stephen W. Thurman and wife Kathy; two grandchildren, Blake Thurman and Brittany Cartwright; three great grandchildren, Braxton Boswell, Ellie Cartwright and Weston Thurman; brother, Eugene Harper and sister, Mary Boudin.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 1 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Blount officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12 to 1 p.m., one hour prior to service time.
