Bettye Jo Stack August 01, 1929 – February 12, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Bettye Jo Stack, 89, of Birmingham, AL passed away February 12, 2019. Bettye was a loving wife, devoted mother and proud MawMaw. She loved gardening and her four legged friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Charles Edward Stack and her sisters, Ruth, Nell, Dorothy “Dot” and Les. Bettye is survived by her sons, James Stack and Michael (Dewayne) Stack; her daughter, Barbara (David) Varner; her grandchildren, Chuck (Candice), Andy (Alicia), and Mary (Lynorse); great grandchildren, Oliver Varner, Devon, Jadon and Trinity McCree and Lily Garrett. Graveside service will be Friday, February 15, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at Valhalla Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. at Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home.
