Obituary for Beverly Schenkel (Keever) Beverly (Bev) Ann Schenkel, 71 of Maryville, Missouri died, June 6, 2018, at Mosaic Life Care in Saint Joseph, Missouri. Beverly was born December 2, 1946, in Maryville, where she graduated from High School. She married Kenneth Schenkel August 20, 1965.

They lived 3 different locations in Iowa and Nebraska returning to Maryville in 1978. In 1991 Bev and her husband purchased Maryville Feed Company where she worked side by side with Kenneth until retirement 20 years later. A devoted wife and mother she took great pleasure in arts and crafts.

She enjoyed weaving, quilting, doll making, and doll collecting. Her enjoyment of antiques filled her house and other houses as well. Bev shared her crafts at fairs and an antique booth she kept for a time so others could enjoy her work and efforts.

A doting grandmother she did not miss a chance to show her affection by personalizing gifts and teaching her love of crafts to her 2 children and 5 grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Bev was preceded in death by her grandmother Bertha Keever of Skidmore, MO. Survivors include her husband of their home of 52 years, Kenneth Schenkel, their eldest son Kenneth Shane Schenkel (Brenda and their children Michaela, Reed, Hannah, and Ella) Lawrence, KS.

and their younest son Kit Wayne Schenkel (his daughter Gretchen) Las Vegas NV, and her brother Rick Keever, Springfield, MO and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be10:00 – 11:00 AM, Saturday June 16, 2018 at Price Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 AM with burial at Nodaway Memorial Gardens, Maryville, at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in her name to the Children and Family Center of Northwest MO. www.
