Obituary for Edwin Day Edwin L. Day, 77 of Skidmore, Missouri passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the Nodaway Nursing Home in Maryville, Missouri. He was born on January 23, 1941 in Quitman, Missouri to Elmer O. and Alfreda L. (Ross) Day. He was a 1958 graduate of the Quitman High School and served in the United States Navy.

Ed was a farmer and had worked for Townsend Wholesale Grocery from 1959 to 1970, except from 1961 to 1965 while he served in the Navy. He later worked for Maryville Packing from 1970 to 1976. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Doyle Isaac and Earl Eugene Day, sister, Frances Plymell, nephew, Charles Plymell and niece, Deborah Abrams.

He married Carolyn K. Kelly on July 29, 1967 in Maryville, Missouri, she survives of the home. Additional survivors include brother, Bill (Cathy) Day and sister, Judy (Roland) Langford, sister-in-law, Patty Day all of Skidmore, Missouri; several nieces and nephews, LuAnn Ingels, Becky Harper, Steve Day, Joe Day, Coby Langford, Jason Langford and Dustin Day, numerous great nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. Services 10:30am Monday, June 11th at Price Funeral Home.

Burial Hillcrest Cemetery, Skidmore, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00pm Sunday, June 10th at Price Funeral Home, Maryville, Missouri. The family suggests memorials to Hillcrest Cemetery or Asera Care Hospice.
