Obituary for Sr. Mary Valdez (Valdez) Price Funeral Home Obituary Sr. Mary Anita Valdez, OSB 1933 -2018 Sr. Mary Anita Valdez, 85 of Clyde, Missouri passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Our Lady of Rickenbach in Clyde, Missouri. Sr. Mary Anita was born on January 6, 1933 in La Jara, Colorado to Jose and Alice (Gallegos) Valdez. She was a graduate of La Jara High School in La Jara, Colorado.

She entered the Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration on September 15, 1950. She made her first profession of vows on October 5, 1952 and was given the name Sister Mary Anita Valdez. Her final profession of vows was on October 5, 1957.

Sr. Mary Anita Valdez was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Andrew and Leopoldo Valdez and one sister, Teresa Monfilett. She is survived by her Monastic family and two brothers, Joseph and Alonzo Valdez and one sister, Marge Hoskins. Wake will be held 7:00pm Sunday, July 22nd at Our Lady of Rickenbach Chapel, Clyde, Missouri.

Mass of Christian Burial 8:30am Monday, July 23rd at the Clyde Chapel, Clyde, Missouri with burial following at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Clyde, Missouri. Arrangements Price Funeral Home, Maryville, Missouri www.
