Beverly Mae Taber-Kelly-Brown March 16, 1947 – March 18, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card Beverly Brown, 72, of Oakes, ND passed away Monday, March 18, 2018 at Oakes Community Hospital. Beverly Mae Taber, was born on March 16, 1947 to Alfred Leroy and Verl (Wilson) Taber in Compton, CA. Beverly loved to crochet, make jewelry, craft and work on puzzles.

She was always very well put together with her hair, makeup and jewelry, therefore known as “Fancy Pants” by many people even up to the very end. Beverly had a great love for and will be greatly missed by the family she gained in her AA groups and the medical staff that was with her the last 2 years while battling cancer. Beverly is survived by her two children, John (Amy) Kelly, Oakes, ND and Renee (Jimmy) Stephens, Cedarpines, CA; eight grandchildren and one step grandchild; six great grandchildren and one step great grandchild; mother Verl Taber; two sisters, Penny (Rick) Allen and Vicki (Arba) Ginn; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband and childrens father, George Francis Kelly, her father, Alfred and one brother. There will be a gathering for family and friends at 6pm on Monday March 25, 2019 at the Kelly Clubhouse.
