Beverly Sue Sanders, a much-loved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and sister, passed away on February 7, 2019 at Norman Regional Hospital. She was born Beverly Sue Owens on August 2, 1960 at St. Anthony’s hospital in Oklahoma City to Bobbie Lee and Mable Sue (Kelly) Owens. Beverly married Edward John Sanders on September 10, 1984.

Ed and Beverly established their home in Tuttle on five acres that at various stages of their lives has served as their children’s and grandchildren’s playground, a wildlife refuge, an animal farm and a beautiful scenic park. In recent years, Beverly has enjoyed raising chickens and providing eggs to her children’s families, as well as providing eggs for the local fire departments. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, kids and grandkids, whether relaxing at home, out at ballgames, celebrating the holidays or at tractor shows.

Beverly’s spirit of strength and determination lives on in her children and grandchildren. Beverly was preceded in death by her father, mother and brother, Ronnie Owens. She is survived by her husband, Ed, and children, sons: Keith Yarbrough (and Tia), Morgan John Sanders, and daughters: Melissa Sanders, Sara Sanders Baker (and Mark), and Joanie Yarbrough.

Beverly is also survived by ten grandchildren: Easten, Michelynn, Izabella, Will (and Brittany), Ian, Flower, Garrett, Hailey, Ashlynn, and Jake; a great-grandchild, Kali; and sister, Sherry.
