Obituary of Beverly Martin Beverly A. Martin, 83, of Beaver Dams, passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at home. She was born in Montour Falls on February 16, 1935, the daughter of the late Starr and Claribel (Finch) Martin and graduated from Watkins Glen High School. Beverly worked at Schuyler Hospital for many years and at Walmart in Watkins Glen.

She enjoyed music, reading, flowers, chickadees, and taught accordion and guitar. Her favorite color was purple. She is survived by a cousin, Starr “Buzzy” Martin of Pine City; friends, Anita (David) Smith of Watkins Glen, Valerie Rhodes of Beaver Dams, Karen Hines of Beaver Dams, and by her cat Garfield.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Glenwood Cemetery in Watkins Glen. Contributions may be made in Beverly’s name to the Humane Society of Schuyler County, 124 Marina Dr., Montour Falls, NY 14865. Arrangements by Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, Montour Falls.
