Obituary for Bill Birchett Billy Joe Birchett was born in Holdenville, Oklahoma on September 25, 1926 to Raymond Franklin and Judith Mae Birchett. Bill graduated from Holdenville High School and went to work for Seismograph Service shortly after. In 1951, he married Milba Ann on her birthday.

Together, they moved to Tulsa in 1957 and Bill worked as a computer technician before retiring in 1986. Bill’s work took him around the world where he met many people of different nationalities, some of whom remained lifelong friends. He was an accomplished photographer, a HAM radio enthusiast, and enjoyed working in his yard.

On May 8, 2018, Bill passed away in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother: Raymond, sister: Ruth and granddaughters Ruth and Alexandria. He is survived by his daughter: Judy, son: David, grandsons: Brandon and Joe, great-grandchildren: Carissa and Braden and great-great-grandson: Augustus.
