Obituary for Bill J. Patterson Billy J. Patterson, longtime Okmulgee resident, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2018 in Tulsa at 89 years of age. Bill was born January 6, 1929 in Schulter, Oklahoma to the late William K. and Mary Louise (Beugin) Patterson. Bill served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1946-1948.

He married Patricia J. Brown on August 11, 1950 in Okmulgee. Bill worked at American Window Glass for 26 years, Emergency Medical Services as the administrator for 5 years and Kelco for 15 years. Bill and Pat were longtime members of the First United Methodist Church in Okmulgee.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife. Survivors include his children, Terri Pulley of Tulsa, Kirk Patterson of Austin and Tracy Jean Kirk and husband Tim of Morris, a sister, Gloria Laub of Okmulgee, grandchildren, Chris White, Brandi White Taylor and husband Brock, John Patterson and wife Arin, Mollie Pulley, Kyle Patterson, Amanda Kirk Cummings and husband Kyle, Megan Kirk Medlock and husband Shawn, and Matt Kirk and wife Heather and great grandchildren, Avery White, Alabama White, Aiden Taylor, Weston Taylor, Bella Taylor, Landon Patterson, Lucas Patterson, Laila Patterson, Easton Kirk, Autry Jane Cummings, River Allen Kirk and Malia Reign Patterson. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church with Reverend Roland Youngberg and Matt Kirk officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made in Bill’s memory to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
