OBITUARY Billie Jean Manship July 26, 1942 – July 10, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Billie Jean Manship LEXINGTON -Billie Jean Manship, Age 75, died peacefully at home on July 10th, 2018. She was born July 26, 1942 in Florence SC to Ray & Billie Atkinson. Billie Jean had several jobs during her professional life to include an in-home health caregiver to mentally challenged patients, managing several different businesses and finally owning her own Ceramic Shop for more than 25 years.

She was an expert at her craft and was always willing to share her knowledge with anyone who asked. She was the President of the Midlands Chapter of the SC State Ceramic Association and through them did many charitable acts. She was not only a Teacher & Mentor to her students, she was also their friend.

Billie Jean was preceded in death by her husband James and her parents. She is survived by her daughter June Texidor; son-in-law, Hiram Texidor; granddaughters, Jennifer Lopez & Piper Davis; grandson, Joe Lopez; sister, Debbie Carter; a niece, a nephew, two great-nieces and her Ceramic Family. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday July 17, 2018 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel located at 503 North Lake Dr., Lexington, SC 29072.
