LUCILLE G. GODSHALL 8/7/1926 – 7/21/2018 Mrs. Lucille Godshall passed away peacefully in her home on the morning of July 22nd. Mrs. Godshall was born on August 7, 1926 in Putman, South Carolina. She was a 1943 graduate of Union High School.

She married L. Eugene Godshall on March 4, 1946. They moved to Washington, D.C. in 1949, where Mr. Godshall had a long and distinguished career as a Postal Executive. After retirement, they moved to Aiken, South Carolina where they enjoyed many wonderful and active years in the Aiken Community.

Mrs. Godshall was involved in many Catholic Church activities and was an avid bridge player. Mrs. Godshall is survived by two daughters, Lauren Alexander of Leesville, SC and Sheree Pertile of Osprey, Florida, 4 Grandchildren, and 4 Great Grandchildren. Mrs. Godshall was preceded in death by her husband, 2 brothers, 4 sisters, and her only son Stephen Godshall.

A mass will be held at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2350 Augusta Hwy. , Lexington, SC 29072 on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. The burial will be held immediately afterwards at Putman Cemetery (Putman Baptist Church), 2692 Buffalo-West Springs Hwy.
