Billie Lou Ferina Douglas age 74, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones and in the comfort of her home on Sunday, January 27, 2019. She was born in New Orleans on July 13, 1944. She is the daughter of the late Lorraine Barone Ferina and Louis Joseph Ferina.

Billie is survived by her loving daughter, Bridget Douglas Williams and her sister Theckla Myers and brother-in-law, Frederick Myers of Stow, Massachusetts; her nephews, Stephen and David Myers and five Great Nieces and Nephews. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Martha’s Catholic Church Parish and an active contributor of Martha’s Friends. She worked many years as a secretary in the Marine Industry.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at St. Martha’s Catholic Church, 2555 Apollo Avenue, Harvey, LA on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 12 Noon. Visitation at St. Martha’s Catholic Church on Wednesday from 10AM until 12 Noon. Interment will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 1225 Whitney Avenue, Gretna, LA.
