Billy Frank Curry, age 79, of Montrose, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Services will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, December 31, 2018 at Bethsaida Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Rev.

Brad Ball will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 1:00PM until funeral hour. Pallbearers will be James “Swamp” Taylor, Raymond Sutton, Chris Avery, Ricky West, Zac Yancey, and Garrett Yancey.

Mr. Curry was a retired mechanic who loved his family. He enjoyed camping on horse and mule, wagon trails, and was a wonderful father and grandfather. He loved his late wife, Mattie Faith Holmes Curry, dearly and was a devoted husband.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, James E. “Buck” Curry and Reba D. Curry, and sisters, Myrtice C. Curl and Mary Jo Graham. Survivors include his daughter, Sheila C. (Brad) Yancey, of Dublin; son, Anthony Curry, of Dublin; and grandsons, Zac and Garrett Yancey, both of Dublin. The family would like to express gratitude to Compassionate Care Hospice for the kindness and care shown to them during the difficult time, especially Beverly Peterson, RN.
