OBITUARY Billy Galen Stisher December 16, 1934 – July 25, 2018 Galen Stisher of Cullman, passed away peacefully at Huntsville Hospital on July 25th. Galen was born Nov. 16, 1934 in Holly Pond, AL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Reedie and Lizzie Stisher, and his sister Christine Blair. He graduated from Cullman High School and owned and operated Stisher Cotton Gin and Stisher Farms. He is survived by Jean, his wife of almost 58 years; his daughter Deborah Stisher (Bob Ellsworth) of Atlanta, GA and son Barry (Shanna) of Vinemont.

His greatest joys: grandchildren Chandler Stisher (Amanda) of Huntsville, AL and Kenton Stisher of Vinemont. He is also survived by two sisters: Willodean Humphries (Bill) of Eva, AL and Linda Calvert of Anderson, AL. He also has a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, July 27th from 6:00-8:00PM at Moss Service Funeral Home. The graveside service will be Saturday, July 28th at 10:00AM, Cullman City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Galen’s honor to your favorite charity, or to Northside Baptist Church of Cullman.
