Obituary for Billy Glazier On Sunday, November 18, 2018, Billy Jack Glazier, loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother passed away at the age of 87 surrounded by family in Peachtree City, Georgia. Jack was born on February 13, 1931 in Wilkinson, West Virginia to Frank and Erna Glazier. He joined the United States Air Force in 1951 and served in the Korean War.

On June 20, 1964 he married Kathleen Adeline Fox and enjoyed 51 years of marriage before Kathleen’s passing. They raised two sons, Robert and Jeff. He received his undergraduate degree from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia and his Masters of Education Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

He worked for the Rochester, NY City School District for over 30 years rising to become the principal of John Marshall High School. Jack was an avid fisherman and golfer. He recorded three holes in one in his lifetime.

His favorite memories were golfing with friends and summer fishing trips with family to the Adirondack Mountains and Thousand Islands Region of upstate NY. Billy Jack Glazier is survived by his 2 sons Robert (Leslie), Jeff (Michele), grandchildren Sarah and Jack, brother Don (Phyllis), sister-in -law Joanne (Jerry) and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sister Margaret McKnight and her husband Bill.
