Billy Joe Jordan age 88 of Evensville died Saturday afternoon, February 9, 2019 at Life Care of Rhea County. Billy Joe was born in Arkansas on July 14, 1930 the son of the late Jack and Ida (Griffin) Jordan. Billy Joe lived in Mississippi for many years until moving to Evensville in 1995.

He retired as a manager of a cattle ranch and was a member of the Texas Grove Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Rosemary (Hopp) Jordan of Evensville, his two sons, William “Bill” (Kay) Jordan of Evensville and James (Lynn) Jordan of Noblesville, IN, his daughter, Bonnie (Don) Newman of Dayton, eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. He is also survived by his brother Cecil (Sharlene) Jordan of Rienzi, MS and numerous nephews and nieces.

Graveside services for Billy Joe will be held Monday morning at 11:00am at Rhea Memory Gardens with his pastor, Rev. Norman Huskey officiating. Please share your memories of Billy Joe on his online guest register at www.
