Obituary for Billy Mintz Billy Mintz Lakeland – Mr. Billy Mintz, 90, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018 from respiratory failure. He was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina and moved to Lakeland in 1951. Billy was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Alice.

He is survived by his sons, Forrest Allen Burkard and his wife Sandi, William Mintz and his wife Angie; grandchildren, Stephanie Burkard Colmenares and her husband Rafael, Alicia Burkard Burkholder and her husband Tim, Maria Mintz Butters and her husband Levi; great-grandchildren, Monica, Heli and Gabriel Colmenares, Nicholas and Samantha Burkholder, Mackenzie Root, and Scarlett Butters. Graveside services will be conducted (Today) Tuesday at 2 pm at Oak Hill Burial Park with Rev. Gerald T. Justus officiating.
