Billy Ray Gregory August 16, 1964 – January 04, 2019 Share this obituary Local Florists Sign Guestbook Mr. Billy Ray Gregory, of Trumann, departed this life on Friday, January 4, 2019 at the family residence at the age of 72 years, 4 months and 19 days. He was born on August 16, 1946 in Trumann, Arkansas where he lived most of his lifetime. He was a supervisor for Great Dane Trailers, an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the Central Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, E.M. Gregory. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda Fay Presley Gregory of the home; two sons, William (Melissa) Gregory of Jonesboro and David (Karen) Gregory of Hoxie; one daughter, Amanda West and husband Nick of Trumann; his mother, Ola Mae Gregory of Trumann; one sister, Carolyn Hendrix Mealer of Trumann; one brother, James Gregory of Trumann; 8 grandchildren, Zachary Drew Gregory, Lauren Elizabeth Gregory, Shawna Marie Gibson, Tanner Paul Gregory, John Bratcher, Robert Bratcher, Daniel Kyle Gregory and James Gregory and 4 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Tuesday January 8, 2019 from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.

A celebration of his life will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Bro. Joel McMaster and Bro. Miles Evans officiating.

Entombment will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Jimbo Presley, Mike Gann, Larry Gregory, Scott Presley, Scotty Spence and Matthew Barnes. Online guest book can be signed at www.
