Burial will follow in the Trinity Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Friday, March 8, 2019, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Warren Meadows Funeral Home, Many, LA.

Billy Ray Stevens was born on Monday, April 18, 1949 in Hamburg, NJ. He passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Ochsner LSU Health in Shreveport, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Abe Stevens and Mable (Fletcher) Stevens and nephew, Billy Womack.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Stringer Stevens of Many, LA; daughters: Connie Vanzant of Many, LA and Tammy Self of Many, LA; sisters: Betty Womack of Milam, TX and Shirley Meshell and husband Johnny Meshell of Fisher, LA; grandson, William Vanzant; nephews: James Womack, Dean Meshell, Don Meshell, Kevin Meshell and Dave Meshell; niece, Cindy Meshell; along with a host of friends.
