Laceys Spring Funeral service for Billy Van Johnson, 61, will be Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Son Rise Baptist Church with Bro. Brian Bridges officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in New Canaan Cemetery at Union Hill.

Visitation will be Monday, July 23, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home. Mr. Johnson died on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Hospice Family Care. He was born November 14, 1956, in Marshall County to William “Bill” Alvin Johnson, Jr. and Andree Garrison Johnson.

He was employed by General Motors / Delphi, in the Shipping and Receiving Department, as a Fork Truck Driver, prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Son Rise Baptist Church in Hartselle. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include : his Wife, Gail Woodall Brown Johnson Two Sons: Eric Johnson (Megan) and Chris Johnson Two Daughters: Crystal Plummer (Ben) and Chasity Lamson (Adam) One Sister: Jolene John (Jay) Seven Grandchildren Pallbearers will be Brian Taylor, Kevin Bradford, Roger Dudley, and Joe Whorton.
