Frank McDaniel went to be with his heavenly Father July 5, 2018. He was born August 30, 1945 to Thomas F and Martha Paul McDaniel. He is survived by his wife Sherry Drain McDaniel, daughter, Brandi McClendon (David), son Mike McDaniel (Amanda).

His grandchildren are Kaidan McClendon, Rylan McClendon, and Cotton McDaniel. He was a loving husband, father, and Grandfather. In his youth he was an outstanding athlete.

He excelled in football, basketball and baseball. Going on to play baseball at Alabama and UNA. He was an avid outdoorsman.

He loved golf, fishing, and duck hunting. He was a member of the Decatur Bass Club for several years and enjoyed his duck hunting trips to Arkansas. In his work career he was with TVA, Wheeler National Wildlife, Chore-Time but his favorable job was with Lockheed Martin where he worked on the Space Shuttle Project.

He was with Lockheed for nearly 30 years where he achieved much success and awards. He was presented the “Silver Snoopy” award, Space flight achievement awards and others. He was retired when they retired the space shuttle program.

Pallbearers will be Trent McCord, Logan Hinkle, Jeremiah Frost. Reid Hinkle. Stephen Brooks, and John Crest.

Honorary Pallbearers will be close friends and hunting buddies. Special Thanks to all our friends for their prayers and acts of kindness. In Lieu of flowers please make contributions to Blue Springs Childrens Program.
