Obituary for Blanche Samanie Poche Blanche Samanie Poche, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at the age of 94. She is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Joseph Samanie and Annie Marie Elfert Samanie; 7 of her siblings; and her daughter-in-law, Jenny Poche. She is the beloved wife of 76 years of Sidney Poche Sr

She is the cherished mother of Sidney Poche Jr. (Eulalie), Mark Poche, and Maria P. Simon (Vernon). She is the devoted grandmother of Scott Poche, Todd Poche (Linda), Jason Simon (Robin), Heather P. Rodgers (Ralph), and Jerremy Simon. She is the loving great- grandmother of Brandon Poche (Bridgett), Ashley P. McDonald (Ramon), Taylor Simon, Jacob Rodgers, Abigail Rodgers, Lena Simon, and Luke Simon.

She is the loving great- great- grandmother of Kirsten McDonald, Bryce Poche, and Travis Bourgois. She is the loving sister of Ethel Hebert and Vivian Snyder. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

A wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, Blanche was passionate about spending time with her beloved family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Visitation on Monday, December 17, 2018 beginning at 8:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM all at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 455 Ames Blvd.
