Bob’s Obituary Bob Wayne Rockhold, 90, of Kirksville, Missouri passed away Sunday, February 3, 2019. He will be greatly missed. He was born on September 9, 1928 in Seminole, Oklahoma.

He was the son of Dee L. Rockhold and Ruby Pearl (Flick) Rockhold. Bob was united in marriage to Nancy Moncrief and to this union one daughter Bobbie, was born. Bob attended Memphis, MO schools and he graduated from Northeast Missouri State Teachers College.

He joined the United States Marines for which he was proud to be a member. He called the Marines “his family”. A very ambitious and dedicated person to business, he owned several different successful businesses throughout the years and he currently owns the Bank of Kirksville.

To quote Bob, “I enjoyed business to the point of almost doing it for nothing”. Bob was a member of fraternal organizations; El Kadir Shrine (Kirksville), Al Malaikah Shrine (California), El Segundo Masonic Lodge (California), and Loyal Order of the Moose (Kirksville). Bob is survived by his wife, Rennetta, his daughter and several nieces and their spouses.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his brother and sister and wife Nancy. Private family service was held and interment was in Park View Memorial Gardens. Memorials are suggested to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital and may be sent to the funeral home.
