Obituary for Bobbie Dobbins Gilliam Bobbie Jean Dobbins Gilliam, 86, of Moore, SC, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at her home. Born July 8, 1931, in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Troy Sloan Dobbins and Lillian Bowman Dobbins and widow of Robert “Bob” Wofford Gilliam. Mrs. Gilliam retired from First Citizens Bank with more than 20 years of service.

She attended First Baptist North Spartanburg. Survivors include her sons, Brian Gilliam (Kelly) of Moore, SC, Kim Gilliam of Athens, GA, and Gregg Gilliam of Reidville, SC; three grandchildren, Sloan, Emma Grace, and Cameron; brothers, Doug Dobbins (Ingrid) of Campobello, SC and Richard Dobbins of Greer, SC; and sister-in-law, Joyce Dobbins of Palm Springs, CA. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Bill Dobbins.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, June 8, 2018, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd. , Spartanburg, SC 29307, by The Rev. Dr. Mike Hamlet.

Visitation will follow at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605; or Hospice Care of South Carolina, 110 Dillon Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29307. The family is at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Kelly Gilliam.
