Obituary for Mr. Bobby D. Walker Mr. Bobby Walker, 82, of Kirksey, KY passed away Friday, January 4, 2019 at his home. Mr. Walker was born on September 3, 1936 in Marshall County to the late Wavle and Lillie Treas Walker. He was a 1957 graduate of Kirksey High School and many knew him as “Red Fox” on the CB radio.

Bobby was a lifetime member of Kirksey Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; his twin brother, Billy Gene Walker as well as another infant brother. Those he leaves behind include his wife, Willadene Walker of Murray, to whom he married on October 17, 1959; two sons, Joe G. Walker (Jeannie) of Benton, Don Walker (Sheryl) of Coldwater; two daughters, Tonya Grogan (Ken) of Murray, Lori Duncan (Marty) of Murray; nine grandchildren, William “Ethan” Lee of Ann Arbor, MI, Cody Lee (fiancé Ember Jones) of Murray, Erika Duncan of Mayfield, Kayla Driver (Dylan) of Calvert City, Keaton Duncan (Janelle) of Murray, Nicholas and Jeremy Duncan of Murray, Brittany Smith (Dustin) of Murray, Augusta Walker of Murray; special cousin, Johnny Parker (Phyllis) of Florida as well as a special dog, Wendy.

The funeral service for Mr. Walker is set for 11 AM on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Imes Funeral Home & Crematory, downtown Murray. April Arnold will officiate and burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

His grandsons will serve as pallbearers and his granddaughters as honorary pallbearers. His family will receive visitors from 5-8 PM on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Kirksey Methodist Church, PO BOX 8, Kirksey, KY 42054, St. Judes Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Norton Children’s Hospital, 231 E.
