Obituary for Mrs. Margaret Mae Hudson Mrs. Margaret Hudson, 83, of Hazel passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Hudson was born on December 27, 1935 in Gleason, TN to the late Clovis and Addie Henry Kendall. She was a member at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Puryear, TN.

She was known as the “Pie Lady” as she was famous for her homemade fried apple and peach pies. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lee Hudson; three brothers, Clovis D. Kendall, James Jimmerson Kendall, Thomas Kendall and two sisters, Joyce Kendall and Jean Kendall Bond. Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, Leonard Martin and Dwayne Martin (Bridgette) both of Hazel; a daughter, Edwina Hudson of Hazel; a brother, Hassie Kendall of Puryear; five sisters, Elnora J. Tharpe of Hazel; Rev.

Eleanor Kendall of Jackson, TN, Sandra K. Williams (Dr. Joseph Williams) of Paris, TN, Willie R. Vaden (Dee) of Paris, TN, Mary H. Littleton of Jackson, TN, Catherine Kendall of Hazel; five grandchildren, Jearlyn Martin, Tracy Martin, Tori Freeland, Danae Martin, Eli Caldwell; eight great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces and nephews, two sisters in law, Annette Kendall of Huntsville, AL and Shirley Hudson of Paris, TN, as well as, her caregiver, Amanda Martin. The funeral service honoring Mrs. Hudson is set for 1 PM on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 45 Gore Rd. , Puryear, TN 38251.

Thomas Taylor will officiate and burial will follow in the Hazel Cemetery. Her family will receive visitors from 11 am- 1 pm on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the church. Online condolences are available at www.
