Obituary for Bobby G. Nations Bobby G. Nations , 76, of Emerson, AR, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Wentworth Place in Magnolia, AR. Bobby was born on November 22, 1941 in Emerson, AR to the late Levi and Myrtle (Williams) Nations. He was a member and Deacon of the First Baptist Church in Emerson and was ordained as a Deacon on March 18, 1973 at Brister Baptist Church.

Bobby loved working outside in his garden and in his shop, wood working, and most of all he loved his family. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially when he got to go with his boys. He was known as Dad, Grandpa, Pops, and most of all as Honey.

The light of his life, Kinsley, loved her Honey. She was his precious baby girl. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Olivern Baker; brothers, Marvis Nations and Lyndol Nations; and nieces, Nancy Carol Day and Kathy Wood.

He is survived by his wife whom he just celebrated 55 years of marriage with, his sweetheart, Elise Nations of Emerson, AR; son Allen Nations and wife Shelia of Emerson, AR; daughter Angela Sherman and husband Royce of Emerson, AR; grandsons, James Nations and wife Mandy of Emerson, AR, Greg Sherman and wife Haley of Emerson, AR, Waylon Ball and wife Halie of El Dorado, AR; Joel Ball of Sadie, LA; great granddaughter Kinsley Nations; and great grandsons, Langston Munn, Wyatt Ball, Hayden Ball, Lawson Ball, Benton Ball, and Brair Ball. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dale Fish and Dr. Eric Goble officiating.

Burial will follow at the Christie’s Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia, AR. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Tim Cole, Steven Taylor, Brandon Kyle, Clayton McNeil, Jerry Don Nash, and Bob Ritzell.
