Bobby Lee Cates Viewing and Visitation for Bobby Lee Cates of El Reno will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019. From 6 to 8 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services and Military Honors will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, February 10, 2019 in Mt.

Zion United Methodist Church. Pastor Vera Walton will officiate. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.

Bobby Cates passed away on February 5, 2019 in his home with his family by his side. He was born on September 3, 1932 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Bobby came to El Reno in 2016 and has resided here since.

He was retired Aero-Nautical Engineer and accident investigator. He Received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oklahoma. Mr. Cates was a member of the Mt.

Zion United Methodist Church. He served in the U. S. Airforce during the Korean Conflict. He married Marilyn Wright on September 7, 1991 in Reno, Nevada.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Charles & Ruth (Cole) Cates, Daughter: Angela Beaver, 2 Brothers and 1 Sister. Survivors include: 4 – Sons; Craig Cates of Blanchard, OK. Kyle cates & wife Terri of Oklahoma City, OK.

Allen Snider & wife Christina of Castle Rock, CO. Christopher Snider & wife Hayli of Mustang, OK. 2 – Daughters: Dr. Kathryne Cates of Oklahoma City, OK.

Dawn Ouellette of Oklahoma City, OK. 8– Grandchildren and 2 Great -Grandchildren and numerous other relatives and many dear friends. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to any Veterans Organizations.
