Bobby Peyton, 85, of Owensboro passed away Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born in Daviess County on June 18, 1933 to the late John Keith Peyton and Rena Pulliam Peyton. Bobby was retired from Alcoa where he worked as an operator for 31 years.

He was a member of the National Rifle Association. Bobby enjoyed hunting and fishing. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Walter Gene Peyton.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 68 years, Betty Dean Peyton, his son, John Peyton and his grandson, Patrick Peyton. Services will be 12:00 pm Friday, February 8, 2019 at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home & Crematory, with Brother Dennis McFadden officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
