Bonita “Murph” Carole Lucas,77, of Frostburg, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Sterling Care of Frostburg Village. Born March 11, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Lorraine (Blocher) Brenneman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Eugene “Lukie” Lucas.

Murph enjoyed having friends and family around her to enjoy a meal and telling stories. She lived life to the very fullest and will be deeply missed by everyone that knew her. Surviving are her children, Mark Lucas and wife Carol Lee, Finzel, Ronnie Lucas and wife Tami, Carpendale, WV, Lorrie Snyder and husband Sean, Frostburg, Todd Lucas and girlfriend Beth Holly, Frostburg; seven grandchildren, April “Bush” Lucas, Darren Lucas, Jennifer Lucas, Tyler Lucas, Ryan Lucas, Ronnie Lucas, and Jessica “May” Lucas; six great grandchildren; great uncle, Ron Brenneman of Minnesota; sisters-in-law, Glenda and Carol; brothers-in-law, Donny, Ronnie and Bobby.

Friends and family will be received at Durst Funeral Home P.A., 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg, MD on Monday, September 24, 2018, from 5-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Matthew Eichhorn officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Sean Snyder, Luke Broadwater, Don Snyder, Chet Christner, Bobby Werner, George Pappas, Phil Krauss, Jamie George and Shaun Carder.
