Bonnie’s Obituary Bonnie Kaye Sattler, age 78 of Beulah passed away at home with her family by her side on Tuesday, February 19, 2019. Bonnie was born on December 21, 1940, to Thomas and Helen (McKay) Magwood in Flint, MI. She married Edward Sattler on May 9, 1957, and moved into their first home in Beulah Michigan, where they would return upon retirement.

Her favorite place on earth was the white sandy beaches in the Benzie area, with the seagulls flying over the water and the lighthouse in silhouette from the sunset. Bonnie was very creative and enjoyed ceramics, painting, and attending craft shows. She was very musically talented and only needed to hear a song once, and she could play it on the organ or accordion.

She loved to sing and was a long-time member of the choir at Honor Congregational Church. She is survived by her children, Don (Carrie) Sattler of Traverse City, Roger (Becky) Sattler of Interlochen, and Dawn (Richard) Thompson of Saranac; grandchildren, Ben (Lindsay) Sattler, Jacob (Jenny) Sattler, David (Lexi) Sattler, Hannah (Clare) Sattler, Jared Sattler, Sierra Sattler, Savannah Sattler, Ashley (Ben) Eggleston, Tony (Ashley) Thompson and Skylar Thompson; and great-grandchildren, Lucas, Lincoln, Evan, Charlotte, and Mia, and several special nieces and nephews. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Magwood, Helen and Sandy Hibbard, husband Edward, and siblings, Donna Lipp and Jerry Magwood.

There will be a Memorial Service at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, located at Lincoln Road, Beulah, Michigan, on Sunday, March 10, 2019, at 3:00 pm. Arrangements in care of Lake Funeral Home of Saranac. Online condolences may be made at www.
