Funeral Services for Bonnie R. Harvey will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday November 9, 2018 at the First Presbyterian Church in LeRoy with Rev John Kerr officiating. Burial will be in the LeRoy Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-7 P.M. Thursday November 8, 2018 also at the church and will continue for 1 hr prior to the service.

Bonnie Harvey, age 78, of LeRoy, MN passed away at Mayo Clinic Hospital – St Marys Campus on November 4, 2018 She was born October 23, 1940 in Austin, MN to Ernie and Martha (Timmerman) Malcomson. Bonnie attended and graduated from LeRoy High School in 1958 and was united in marriage to Harold Harvey at the First Presbyterian Church in LeRoy. After they were married Harold and Bonnie lived in Preston where Bonnie worked as a waitress and later as a bookkeeper at the Creamery and for Preston Marketing.

They later moved near Hammond, MN where they farmed for a short time before moving to a farm south of Spring Valley in 1969 where they continued to farm until 1986 when they moved into LeRoy, MN. In 1969 Bonnie Started working for the United States Post Office in Spring Valley as a mail carrier. She carried mail in Spring Valley and filled in Stewartville until her retirement in 2001.

Bonnie enjoyed playing Bridge, bowling, word find games and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of the Pleasure Club, The Garden Club and was active in the First Presbyterian Church in LeRoy. She is survived by her husband Harold Harvey of LeRoy, her daughter Pam (Tom) Stevens of Grand Meadow, 7 grandchildren; Jamie, Michael, Alexander and Emily Stevens, Marjia Larimer, Zach (Cassie) Harvey and Lisa Harvey, 3 great-grandchildren; Cooper, Zoey and Elizabeth, 2 sisters; Marge Mehring of Rochester, MN and Darlene Velzy of New Mexico, 1 brother; Clark (Margueritte) Malcomson of Lindstrom, MN and a sister-in-law Norma Malcomson of Green Valley, AZ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons; Mike and Dave, a granddaughter Zarah, I brother; Dale and 1 sister; Joyce Knight. Condolences may be left at www.
