Sharon L. Rowe, age 63, of Riceville, IA passed away Wednesday October 31, 2018 in Mason City, IA as a result of injuries from a motor cycle accident. Sharon L. Berg was born May 14, 1955 in Preston, MN to Milford and Hazel (Leland) Berg. She attended and graduated from LeRoy-Ostrander High School in 1973 and was united in marriage to Dale Throckmorton on July 7, 1973.

To this union three sons were born; Corey, Matthew and Ryan. They were later divorced. In 2000 Sharon was united in marriage to Joe Rowe, Joe died in November of 2008.

Sharon worked for the Ostrander Care Center for a period of time before being employed by LeRoy Products Co. (L.P.C.) in LeRoy. After L.P.C. closed she started work at Wintech Electronics in LeRoy. Sharon enjoyed camping, antiquing riding motorcycle but especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and loved getting together with family and friends.

She is survived by her 3 sons; Corey Throckmorton and his significant other Sara Guevremont of Lime Springs, IA, Matthew Throckmorton of Wykoff, MN and Ryan Throckmorton of Preston, MN, 2 grandchildren; Kyra and Draven and 3 sisters; Donna (Gordie) Briggs of Rochester, MN, Eileen Voyna of Ostrander, MN and Karen Williams of LeRoy, MN. She is also survived by her significant other Joe Dahly of Riceville, IA. There will be a gathering for friends and family at the Hindt Funeral Home in LeRoy, MN from 9:00 A.M. until noon on Saturday November 3, 2018.
