Obituary for Boyd Kay Peterson Boyd Kay Peterson, age 49, passed away on May 17, 2018 at the home of Kelly and Tracy Valdez. He was born June 5, 1968 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Lovell Cotton Peterson and Boyd Deon Peterson. Known to his friends and Family as “Kay”.

He was always willing to help people in any way that he could. He had a passion for fixing things and was the man you could absolutely count on if you had an issue with a vehicle or around the house as he was an incredible mechanic/handyman. He loved the outdoors and the wildlife that inhabited it, in his younger years he was an active hunter and fisherman.

What Kay loved most of all was bringing joy to the people whom he cared about. Never would he miss an opportunity to visit or call for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, or any occasion for that matter. He loved spending time with those he held near and dear to his heart.

He is survived by his son Travis; brothers- Steve, Deon, Bill, and Lynn; sister- Gerry and many friends. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday June 9, 2018 at the Murray Fraternal Order Of Eagles Club, starting at 4:00 p.m. Please join us in a celebration of his life bring your memories, your stories and join us for one last beer with Kay. The location was selected as it was an important place to Kay and his father, we have reserved the upstairs portion of this location in order for all the kids who were so important to Kay can be there as well to say their goodbyes as well.
