Obituary for Bradley Burney ALEDO – Bradley Duain Burney, 51, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on the morning of Monday, June 18, 2018, at his home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the: Bradley Burney Memorial, Worth Baptist Church, 4900 Campus Drive, Fort Worth, Texas 76119. Bradley was a devoted father and husband who loved his wife, children and family fervently.

He was a captain with the Mesquite Fire Dept where he had been employed for over 25 years. He loved his job so much he never considered it work and considered his fellow fire fighters as his own family. His favorite pastime was watching his TCU Horned Frogs play football.

Bradley was preceded in death by his father, Richard Burney; and grandfather, William Bradley. Survivors: Wife of 26 years, Joanna Stone Burney; children, Jacob Burney, Shelby Powell (Jacob); mother, Cynthia Burney; brother, Jay Burney (Sonya); sister, Melissa Burney; grandmother, Wilma Bradley; aunt, Connie Barrington; and multiple nieces and nephews.
