He was a good man with a good name that taught us all about good, honest hard work. He was a devoted servant to his church and enjoyed serving as Usher.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. He was survived by wife, Rosie R. Olivarez; sons, Manuel R. Olivarez III, Rodney Olivarez, Gilbert Olivarez; daughters, Cecelia Marshall, Dianna Kaprelian; 22 grandchildren; multiple great-grandchildren; step-sons, Joseph Aguilar and Phillip Garcia; siblings, Raul Olivarez, Teresa Vasquez, Olivia Olivarez, Olga Ortiz.
