Wagener – Brantley Nicholas Swartz, 23, went to be with the Lord Thursday, July 19, 2018. Brantley is the son of Tammy Bolen Swartz and the late Jeffrey Dale Swartz. He is the fiancé of Lydia Arlet Chavez and the father of Kennedy Baylor Swartz.

Brantley is the brother of Jamie Elizabeth Swartz. He is the grandson of Edward (the late Wanda) Swartz and Paulette (the late Jimmy) Bolen. He is the nephew of Cindy Swartz, Tommy (Tucker) Swartz, and Angie (Andy) Rodgers.

Brantley is the cousin of Darren Abney, Christopher Samples, Megan Garvin, and Danielle Swartz. Lydia’s parents are Oscar and Lucia Chavez. Her grandparents are Victorino and Ofelia Sorcia and her siblings are Oscar Chavez, Jr., Andy Chavez, and Isabella Chavez.

Brantley loved his girls. He was a graduate of Wagener Salley High School. He was a lover of sports, especially the War Eagles, Gamecocks, Braves, Panthers, and Warriors.

Brantley loved the Lord and was a member of Bethcar Baptist Church. He will be forever loved and missed. Visitation will be Sunday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m at the chapel of Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

A service celebrating Brantley’s life will be held at 5 p.m. Monday at Bethcar Baptist Church. Brantley will be laid to rest next to his Daddy in Bethcar Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev.

Chris Addy will be ministering to the family. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Kennedy Swartz Educational Fund c/o Bethcar Baptist Church at P. O. Box 546 Wagener, SC 29164.
