Brenda Gail Fields age 65 of Smithville, passed away Saturday morning at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Lena Parsley and Helen Self; sister, Deb Self and brother, Roy Allen Self. She retired from Kingston Timers and was a Christian.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Ronda Lucci of Smithville, Amy (Stacy) Wheeler of Auburntown; 5 grandchildren, Serena and Adrian Lucci, Libby, James and Sarah Wheeler; 3 sisters, Misty Green of Dowelltown, Tabby Davis and Mary Alice Robertsen both of Smithville; brother, Jim Self of Liberty; special aunt, Linda Moser of Smithville; special extended family, Sammie Rae Maxwell of Smithville and several cousins also survive. The family has honored Brenda’s request to be cremated and there will be a Memorial Gathering on Tuesday 4:PM to 6:PM at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. In addition to flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the DeKalb Animal Coalition.

DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
