Brenda Gail Shumaker June 15, 1955 – January 22, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Sympathy Card Funeral services for Brenda Gail Shumaker, 63, of Pollok will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Keith Bickley officiating. Interment will follow in the Pollok Cemetery. Mrs. Shumaker was born June 15, 1955 in Huntsville, Texas to Olna Mae (Echols) and R.L. Lehman, Jr., and died Tuesday, January 22, 2019 in a local hospice facility.

Mrs. Shumaker resided in Pollok most of her life. She graduated from Central High School and was Office Manager for Lehman’s Pipe & Steel, Inc Mrs. Shumaker was an avid sports fan and enjoyed traveling to watch softball games.

She was lovingly known as “Nana” to many people. She will be dearly missed by many. Mrs. Shumaker was a member of Pollok Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Dale Shumaker of Pollok; daughters, Holly Denise Shumaker Williams and husband Sidney of Mountain Home, Arkansas and Lindsey Nicole Shumaker Warner of Pollok; grandchildren, Kenzie Warner of Pollok, Sydnie Grace Williams, Gideon Williams, both of Arkansas, Brianna Warner of Pollok, John Williams and Benjamin Williams, both of Arkansas; parents, Mae and R.L. Lehman, Jr. of Pollok; brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Diane Lehman of Pollok; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Paul Davis of Nacogdoches; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Patsy Lehman. Pallbearers will be Billy Bentley, Ronald Preston, Mark Purvis, Ricky Purvis, Jason Shumaker, and Chock Taylor.

Honorary pallbearers will be Gideon Williams, John Williams, Benjamin Williams, and the Employees of Lehman’s Pipe & Steel, Inc. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice in the Pines, 1504 W. Frank Avenue, Lufkin, Texas 75904 or the Pollok Baptist Church Youth Fund, P.O. Box 85, Pollok, Texas 75969. The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
