Brenda Gail Willbanks Vickers, 68, of Jacksonville passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019. She was born March 23, 1950 in Newport, Arkansas to John and Goldie Willbanks. She loved “Skip Bo” and was a champ at it.

Brenda was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and retired from VA Medical center where she was a CNA. She worked part time for Crossmark inside Sam’s where she was nominated Employee of the Month for March. Brenda is survived by her daughter, Kimberly (Bryan) Church of Lonoke; sons, John Murdock of Mississippi County and Joe Murdock, of Marianna; two brothers, Buster and James Willbanks; grandchildren, Zachary Murdock, Kyle and Leighanne Wolf, and Nolan Church and her special friend, David Clark.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Don Vickers; son, Roy Dean Murdock; and nine siblings. A celebration of her life will be 6:00 p.m., Saturday, March 16, 2019 with a visitation prior to service at 5:00 p.m. at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel.
